Currently, as a subordinate organization of the Japanese Society of Sensory Evaluation (JSSE), the Corporate Division is working to further contribute its activities based on its academic foundation to society and to provide technical support to the industrial world.
The purpose of this group is to provide a forum for the exchange of information on sensory evaluation technology for researchers and developers involved in sensory evaluations, companies considering incorporating sensory evaluation technology into their operations, and students interested in learning about sensory evaluation technology. Therefore, the subcommittee is open to anyone interested in the technology, regardless of their affiliation with government or academia.
To enhance each other’s skills, we share information such as discussions to find clues to solve problems in the field of sensory evaluations through case studies, workshops to deepen understanding of various methods, information on related research meetings, and information on academic conferences. Special lectures are also held (on an irregular basis) to provide more opportunities to deepen communication with professors from university research institutes affiliated with the Society.
At present, regular meetings are held in Tokyo every two months.
Anyone who is a regular member, student member, or supporting member of the Japan Society of Sensory Evaluation is welcome to attend the meetings, and we look forward to your participation if you are willing to actively participate in various presentations and discussions.
